At the end of Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft announced Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, an adventure set in the Avatar universe. This Avatar game will be exclusive to the latest consoles, making it one of the first next generation experiences. It will also be coming to PC. Ubisoft confirmed this information at the end of the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora trailer.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person, AAA, open world adventure being developed by Massive Entertainment in collaboration with Disney. It will release in 2022, supposedly alongside the new Avatar movie that is currently in the works. Disney announced that they were continuing the Avatar franchise with a series of new movies, but the Frontiers of Pandora announcement was a surprise ending to the Ubisoft Forward event.
